The Magnificent

When Jeanette Lynton revealed to us at Convention that Pacifica would be one of the new colors featured in our gorgeous Carnival Palette, I was among the first in the audience to leap out of her chair squealing, waving my Clapper wildly over my head.  I LOVE THIS COLOR!  So naturally I was tickled, ahem, Pacifica, when I saw how prominently it's featured in one of our newest Playshops on the Go, Magnifique.  

And how perfectly does this paper complement our engagement pictures!  Truly magnificent, wouldn't you say?

Giving thanks

I have the most wonderful friends and family, who showered my fiance and I with lots of gifts in celebration of our engagement!  Naturally, I wanted to thank them the Close to My Heart way, so I created these gorgeous Thank You cards*.  Aren't they beautiful?  I used our black cardstock, patterened paper from our Silhouette Level 2 paper packet, our Black Floral grosgrain ribbon, and one of my favorite stamp sets, Card Chatter-Thank You.  I sponge daubed all of the edges using our finger sponge daubers and our Exclusive Inks stamp pad in Black.  

And it was so easy!  Let me show you how.  ; )

Splendor Playshop on the Go!

One of the B&T Duo sheets used in this "playshop" featured clouds, which inspired me to scrap my skydiving pictures!  It came together perfectly to showcase the amazing photos I have and to really honor the memory of my first (and last!) time jumping out of an airplane.

My layout also features paper flowers, which I made using our 1 1/4" circle punch.  I used our Connections stamp set to stamp an image on some of the petals to create extra dimension.  Splendid!
